Reviewing the past nine month's Character Qualities
At North Highlands Bible Church, we desire to be Christ followers rooted in godly character. Because Jesus rose from the dead, we too can rise above the brokenness of this world to be men and women of character. We will focus on a new character quality each month to help us cultivate character.
Trusting | May 2018
The ability to place your confidence in another.
Prov. 3:5-6 (NASB) Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
Forgiving | April 2018
The ability and willingness to take the pain and bear the cost of an offense.
Eph. 4:32 (NASB) Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.
Flexibility | March 2018
Being willing and able to adjust to a better course of action.
Prov. 16:9 (NET) A person plans his course, but the LORD directs his steps.
Courage | Feb. 2018
Not the absence of fear but the overcoming of fear through mental, moral, and spiritual strength.

A strong resolve to accomplish the tasks and projects assigned to me.
