NHBC Supports Missionaries around the World

Missions Update for the Caire Family:

In the spring of 2023 we received word from Will and Allison Caire that they will be moving back to the USA this summer and will be ending their missionary service in Kijabe, Kenya.  The following are some brief excerpts from their recent email we received earlier this month:

I am sad to write to you and let you know that we have decided to move home this summer. Allison's father's Alzheimer's disease has worsened significantly in the past six months, and we are needed at home to help with that. School for our older boys (David and Peter) now includes college…….  and we are realizing that we cannot be a world away from them.

We are so thankful for the support that you guys have given to us. Some of you for 11 years, others less. But still it has meant so much to us.  I think I was naive to think we could stay forever. As recently as this past fall I have been trying to raise more support to stay longer. I feel bad for doing that now. I hoped we might stay, as serving this way has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. We will always be thankful to God for allowing us to come, and I am thankful to you for supporting us.

Our current plans are to finish this summer. Our son Peter graduates from RVA in mid-July. Then we will settle our situation here and move home. We will transition to employed work in Richardson as we find it, likely continuing to live on support for a few months after we arrive home.   I am happy to answer any questions you have regarding this decision.

Please pray for us to find work, for our daughters to find a good school. Annie will be a Senior next year, and so it is a big change for her.

Please pray for Will and Allison Caire, along with their children, David, Peter, Annie, and Sarah, as they transition back to the Dallas area this summer.  For more information on their current place of service and family, you can see their info on the NHBC missions page.
