YOU ARE AMAZING!!
I love Sunday mornings!! But there just isn’t enough time to for us all to get to know one another. I know, because my husband and I are always one of the last to leave the church. Ha!!!! I wish I could sit down and visit with each of you, but given the time framework that would be impossible.
So, how about a COFFEE BREAK?!!
Let’s take a few minutes each week and chat over a cup of coffee or if you’re like me, a cup of Chai. I love chatting with friends over a cup of “coffee”.

A while ago, I was at Barnes and Noble and glanced over the books in the Christian Inspiration section. Found one called “You are Amazing”. I had to smile as I read the title. Why is it we love to hear that? But hey, not only us…how about our husbands? They love to hear it!! Our kids love to hear it!! Our moms, our dads, our friends, our co-workers and even our dogs love to hear it!!! Ha!!!
As I flipped through the pages and read encouraging passages from God’s word, I realized it’s true!!
I can say to YOU and you can say to me, “YOU are amazing!” Why? Because we are…
- made in the image of an AMAZING God.
- valued and loved, so immensely that to know His love surpasses knowledge!! Eph. 3:17-19
- worth dying for!!!! “For God did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, so that He might freely give us all things.” Rom. 8:32
- adopted into the family of God and share the inheritance that God has set aside for His Son!!!! Rom. 8:14-16; Eph. 1:18; 1 Peter 1:3-5
Let’s “noodle” on that for a while. This is incredible news!!!
So, let’s just start off with something short and simple. YOU are amazing!!! We are amazing!!! All human beings are made in the image of an amazing God and loved by Him. This gives us worth; not only us, but EACH person around us is valued and loved by God!!!
And if I may add one more thought…we are not left alone to plug through the difficulties of this world!!!
Jesus has left us His Spirit. The Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in us and gives life to our mortal flesh…equipping us and enabling us to live with power, so that we may boldly say if God be for us, who can be against us?!! Eph. 1:18-19; Rom. 6:3-4; 8:11; 31-39
We are the objects of His affection. This is good news!!!! Let’s let the sweet truths of God’s word wash over us. The Women’s Ministry Team and I are praying for you…may God remind you and I how amazing we are in His sight!!!
